Single Skin Oil Tanks

Single skin steel and plastic oil tanks are offered with up to a  2-3 year warranty if installed by a competent person such as an Oftec registered company or individual.

Alternatively the registration card included in your tank delivery pack can be completed and returned by post.

On completion of the warranty form, a confirmation will be sent to you to confirm the warranty has been registered.

IMPORTANT

If purchasing one of our single skin oil tanks the following should be noted that Yorkshire Oil Tanks recommends that ALL oil tank installations are bunded, in order to store oil safely and if purchasing one of our single skin range, that it is installed within an appropriate existing bund or that a bund is constructed, to meet the requirements of any local regulations and ensure compliance with the oil storage regulations. Failure to do so may invalidate this warranty.

 

Bunded Oil Tanks

Bunded plastic oil tanks are offered with up to 12 year warranty and bunded steel oil tanks receive up to 10 year warranty if installed by a competent person such as an Oftec registered company or individual.

Alternatively the registration card included in your tank delivery pack can be completed and returned by post.

On completion of the warranty form, a confirmation will be sent to you to confirm the warranty has been registered.

Fire Protected Oil Tanks

Fire protected oil tanks are offered with an industry leading 10 year warranty  if installed by a competent person such as an Oftec registered company or individual.

Alternatively the registration card included in your tank delivery pack can be completed and returned by post.

On completion of the warranty form, a confirmation will be sent to you to confirm the warranty has been registered.

The Warranty guarantees all oil tanks sold by Yorkshire Oil Tanks, (accessories and fittings such as pumps, alarms or gauges, are guaranteed for 1 year with standard manufacturer warranties) to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the period specified for each individual type of product.

FAQ's

If you receive a damaged item, you must notify us within 7 working days by email to [email protected] quoting your order reference details. You will be contacted by a member of the team to try and determine the reason for the damage. You may be required to provide photographic evidence. If determined it has been damaged either prior to despatch or through courier mishandling, a replacement will be sent out. The damaged item will then be collected. Arrangements will be made via our sales office.
Using an OFTEC registered technician ensures all work is carried out to the relevant standards and that you are kept up-to-date with any changes in legislation.
In the event you order an item you no longer require, you need to contact us within 7 working days of receipt at [email protected]. You will then be given a returns reference to use when returning the item for a full refund. If you contact us after 7 working days, we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of 20%. If you do not have the ability to return the item, a collection can be arranged and the cost will be deducted from the refund. The only time an additional payment will be requested is if the cost of carriage exceeds the cost of the item. This is only valid if the item is unused and in its original, undamaged packaging.
